If you have been into online dating, I'm sure you can relate to what I am talking about. This happens a lot of times. Wallowing in self-pity is definitely not going to help you recover. If you want to get over your rejection, just try to put it out of your mind and focus on something else. I find this very effective for me whenever I try to cheer myself up. I usually find other things that I like to do and focus on that.
It always helps to maintain a positive attitude. Even if you're feeling down, look at the bright side of things to appreciate what you have. This is not saying that you are going to forget whatever problems you may have. It is only to help you look at different sides of things. If there are bad moments, there certainly would be good ones too.
